Itinerary day by day
Day 1Arrive in Zhangjiajie
Welcome to Zhangjiajie! Our private English-speaking tour guide & driver will pick you up in time at Zhangjiajie airport and transfer you to your hotel in downtown Zhangjiajie. A paper board with the sign of YangtzeTour.com and your name will be held high by the guide at exit of the airport. The rest of day is free at your own leisure.
Day 2Zhangjiajie ( B, L )
After breakfast at your hotel, our tour guide & driver will pick you up and transfer to visit Zhangjiajie National Forest Park, which is a must-see places in Hunan Province. You will take the cable car to Huangshizhai, which is a great challenge. From Huangshizhai, you will have a high bird’s view of the park, which resembles a huge painting of Chinese beautiful landscape: unique peaks, active mountain, flying waterfalls, bloom flowers and green grasses.
After lunch, you will head to visit Golden Whip Brook, which is reputed to be the most beautiful canyon in the world. Afterwards, transferred back to your hotel.

Day 3Zhangjiajie ( B, L )
After breakfast, you will be transferred to visit Yuanjiajie. Your adventure tour starts at Shuiraosimen ( four streams converge here ). The Bailong Elevator, an engineering wonder of the world is located here. At a height of 326 meters, it claimed to be the world’s highest outdoor elevator.
In the afternoon, you will visit Tianzi Mountain, which means King Mountain in English. The mountain presents itself in its distinctive shape; the rock formation is older than that in Yuanjiajie; the summit provides a fantastic experience of stunning views. Afterwards, you will be transferred to your hotel.

Day 4Zhangjiajie – Fenghuang ( B, L )
Today you will be transferred to Fenghuang Ancient Town, which is a quaint town with houses built up on both sides of a river. The town boasts of a history dated back to 1300 years ago. There stand a number of remarkable old gardens as well as distinctive residential buildings, elegant bridges, and mysterious towers and pagodas. There are some ethnic groups living in Fenghuang Ancient Village, including Miao, Tujia and Hui. You could meet a lot of Miao People with their traditional blue garments decorated a white scarf.

Day 5Fenghuang – Zhangjiajie, Depart from Zhangjiajie ( B )
After breakfast, you will be transferred back to Zhangjiajie. Then you tour guide will escort you to the airport for your flight to depart from Zhangjiajie. Your pleasant Zhangjiajie trip ends.
